Zacharias Biografie

Marita Zacharias is a painter with 20 Jahrs of experience in portraiture and she works as freelance graphic artist and painter. In her early life she found her love for painting. Already at that time she used her talent to produce drawings and portraits from classmates and relatives with passion. Especially the works of the old masters fascinated her, whereby she enjoyed mainly painting in oil. In recent years she studied different methods of painting (oil, pastel, pencil drawing) autodidactically and improved it in courses and tutorials. The flemish painter and sculptor Jan Maria Dondeyne became her instructor for painting in oil.

The impressions from her journeys to Southern Europe, the USA and India influenced especially her natural sceneries, still lifes and some of the abstract paintings. But her particular interest was always directed towards portraiture, because it is not only timeless, but also one of the biggest challanges of painting. She paints her portraitures prevalent in a naturalistic style.

Her exhibitions in the last years were prevalent in a virtual manner in different art-catalogues in the internet. Since 2003 she is a member of "San Society", a community of artists from different countrys and domains. She is also a member of the new organisation "Talent Seekers", which arised from "San Society" and was made for all professionals in the range of art, cultur and communication.
