Methods of painting and material – Oil
Painting in oil is most traditional and common medium in portraiture. They are very ductile and versatile, which is very helpful for the portrait. I use high quality oil paints with a high light resistance for the portraits. I use a stretcher frame tightened canvas and paint the borders, too, so it can be hanged up without a frame. The background-composition is based upon your wishes. I apply a varnish on the finished painting, which saves it from environmental influences. Optional framing of the painting is possible.
